Perfect location for a perfect little cottage. Just what we needed, being able to walk out straight into woods for walking and cycling, then coming back to curl up with cosy log burners! Excellent to be able to store bikes and park off road. Kitchen well equipped so able to accommodate pancake day as well as dinners and breakfast. Thank you for the stay although sadly no wild boar spotted. We look forward to coming back.
We enjoyed a lovely long weekend in this delightful and spacious cottage. Quiet, comfortable and everything presented to a very high standard. Very well-equipped kitchen with sharp knives (unusual for holiday lets) and wood-burning stoves to keep you cosy in the evenings.
Location is excellent for walking, cycling and sightseeing. Definitely worth a return visit.

Lovely quiet cottage a few minutes from the bike park. The cottage was stocked with everything you would need, beds were comfy and the hosts were extremely helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
Very well presented space, with all the items you would require to cook, clean and enjoy the space, all situated in a beautiful location.
Return visit! Just as good as the year before - this time we explored more of the local area - Chepstow, Symonds Yat, Ross on Wye - all very local. Highly recommended also is the Speech House, just around the corner, for lunch and dinner.
An amazing location - right in the heart of the Forest of Dean and literally across the road from the Forestry Commission cycle centre. Nice comfortable spacious accommodation, with the cottage recently refurbished to a very high standard. With forest at the front and at the back - couldn't be better located. Highly recommended for those looking for activities - cycling and hiking, or just wishing to explore the area.
Superb stay at Cannop Villas. Lovely house which had obviously been just renovated to a very high standard. Perfect location next to Cycle centre Warm and welcoming after a cold day out in the forest. Will definitely be back. Thanks Barry and Marianna
